Within the scope of HERALD Project, Anglia Ruskin University’s (UK) Team is Coming to Istanbul!

Istanbul Şehir University’s Center for Urban studies with Anglia Ruskin University (England) jointly developed the “Turkey’s Smart and Sustainable Urban Development Empowerment within the Cultural Heritage Perspective” (HERALD: A HEritage-led Resilience Approach To Smart And Sustainable Urban Development in Turkey).” This project is developed by the Future Cities Program and is supported by Katip Çelebi-Newton Fund, Research Environment Links Grants.

For visiting the Turkish part of the project Dr. Alan Edward Coday, Emeritus Prof. Robert Home, Dr. Lakshmi Rajendran, Simona Miraglia, Catherine Dorothy Guelbert, Gloria Koramah Osei and Dr. Nezhapi-Delle Odeleye form Anglia Ruskin Üniversitesi’ will be in Center for Urban Studies from 30th of September until 5th of October. They will join the workshops, field studies, and presentations during their stay.

The team also will be together in one of MARUF sessions which is “Urban resilience and sustainable cultural heritage management: Lessons from Istanbul”
